Sponsor a student in Honduras

Escuela El Sembrador (school of the sower) is a school for underprivileged boys in Honduras. Also known as the “farm school”, students learn practical skills in a variety of trades, including carpentry, agriculture, mechanics, and more. Founded in 1954, the school has educated over 7,000 students in a loving, Christian environment.

Although the school offers relatively low tuition, many families are simply too poor to afford it. To find out more about the student sponsorship program, visit escuelaelsembrador.org.

World Go! Manual for Kids

Kids have a unique perspective of the world. They are able to grasp deep issues and understand the need for others to know Jesus Christ. The Bible itself has many stories of children being used by God in incredible ways – Samuel, David, Naaman’s servant girl.

So, WGM created a resource to help parents help their children become missions-active. The Kids’ World Go! Manual includes nine chapters with a brief study section and practical action steps to put the knowledge in action. The book is $15, and you can check out a sample section for free.

Contact WGM’s Global Link Department at globallink@wgm.org or call 765.671.7249 to order your personal copy of the Kids’ World Go! Manual. Checks can be made out to World Gospel Mission and sent to:

Another great resource is The Mission-Minded Child, by Ann Dunagan. ($12 on Amazon) It’s jam-packed with kid-friendly ideas about how to make missions real to children of all ages.

“God yearns for our children to be rock-solid in faith, bold in witness, and daring enough to live totally for His kingdom! He wants to spare our children the heartaches of disobedience, the regrets of midlife, and the despair of wasted years. Most of all, God sees a lost generation – masses of young people scattered throughout the world – desperately seeking His love!”
