Have Yourself A Missions-Active Christmas

Warm and fuzzy sentimental moments with your family aside, one of the best ways to experience Christmas is to give. Not just to your family, but to those less fortunate than you. More than any other time of the year, Christmas provides so many opportunities to bless others with material help and spiritual hope. Ministry partners and supporters team up with missionaries around the world to spread the message of Jesus’ birth and His perfect love.

ACT

In this final week before Christmas, take a step of faith and reach out in Jesus’ name. Take cookies to someone who lives alone. Invite someone without family to your Christmas dinner. Give extra in your year-end giving. Pay for groceries for the person ahead of you at the store. Buy a bunch of socks and take them to your local homeless shelter. And in everything you do, share the peace of Jesus.

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep,God is not dead, nor doth He sleep.” The wrong shall fail, the right prevail with peace on earth, goodwill to men.
