All The Saints Adore Thee

All the Saints Adore TheeThis is a great story about a church family in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and their desire to support missionaries being sent out of their congregation.

Here’s Cheryl Foster, who helped to produce a music CD along with several other musicians in Avalon Hills Bible Church, called All The Saints Adore Thee:

We produced the CD because people in our congregation were asking for a recording of music that our church musicians play and sing as they lead in worship.  In the process of planning, it occurred to us that it would be a good project to raise funds to help support missionaries going out from our congregation, such as our good friends Jim and Martha Ritchie with World Gospel Mission. (Jim and Martha will be serving at Chogoria Hospital in Kenya.)

The goal with the project is to provide quality music that can draw people closer to God.  The contents begin with focusing on Jesus in  “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.”  The songs then move to what Christ has done in bringing salvation:  “There is a Fountain” and “I Will Sing of My Redeemer.”  Then the selections move on to Christian struggle and growth in the midst of God’s faithfulness.  The CD concludes with songs that look forward to spending eternity with the Lord.  Some of the fourteen selections are vocals and some are instrumentals, but lyrics to all are included in the insert so listeners can contemplate the wonderful words as they listen.

Another goal is, of course, to support missions.  Production costs were covered in advance by contributors, so as the cover states, “All proceeds from the sale of this CD go to the support of missionaries originating from Avalon Hills Bible Church.”
