War and Shadows

On December 14, 2012, part of the WGM-Uganda missionary team were driving to the Congo for a ministry trip. Tragically, they were involved in an accident that resulted in the death of a small child.

Blog post from Scott Rambo: “This is War”

“God had opened a door for us to go to Congo to participate in celebrations for a university graduation, pastoral ordinations, and new believers being baptized. The enemy, however, was willing to do whatever it took to keep us from getting there, including putting a small boy in the path of our vehicle.”

Blog post from Kelly Hallahan: “Shadow Hanging Over Christmas”

“The battle has raged. Death hangs overhead. Darkness crouches at our doorstep.  But we are a people of hope!  He has already won the victory! He is Emmanuel~ God-With-Us~ even here in the shadows.”

Pray for the family of the child. Pray for Scott and the entire Uganda missionary team. Pray that God will show His light even in the shadows.

The prayers of God’s people have truly sustained our team during the last month. Would you like to be a part of regularly lifting up every missionary and MK before the throne? Go to www.wgm.org/praycal to view the prayer calendar for today.
