Feed the Hungry in Kenya

One of the goals of this blog is to let you know when you can do something to put your faith in action. Today, let’s talk about Kenya.

Like neighboring countries of Somalia and Ethiopia, Kenya is in the midst of drought-induced famine that is causing widespread hardship and even claiming lives. While WGM-Kenya doesn’t have the access to large amounts of funds like the UN, we are able to work through the extensive network of Africa Gospel Church churches. Recently, over $15,000 of maize – a staple grain in Kenya – was distributed through this venue.

But there’s still lots to be done, and there’s no end in sight to the famine. You can partner with WGM to help give Kenyans food and other basic necessities during this time of need.

“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in.”  (Matthew 25:35)
